Bookkeeper for a CPA firm in the US (Home Based Part Time)
• Record day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments in the general ledger • Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and other financial records to ensure accuracy. • Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payment processing, and collections. • Prepare and maintain financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, standards, and company policies. • Process payroll, including calculating wages, deductions, and ensuring timely payments. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions and documentation. • Identify and recommend improvements to accounting processes and systems. • Assist in other office administration including sending engagement letters and contracts for signature, organizing client files, etc.
