Graphic Design and Social Media Coordinator

Maimonides School, a Jewish Pre-K-12 private school in Brookline, MA, is seeking a full-time Graphic Design and Social Media Coordinator to manage our online and offline communications for both internal and external constituents. This individual will be responsible for creation, distribution, and management of our school's print, digital, and social media communications. This position reports to the Executive Director of Community Engagement.

Responsibilities include:

• Design and produce content for social media, marketing, internal and external communications;
• Build and manage our school's social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and other relevant channels;
• Manage our school's website and social media presence;
• Deliver high quality visuals that enhance the Maimonides School brand and image (both internally and externally);
• Assist with planning school events, and be available to attend and photograph such events;
• Contribute creative ideas and best practices for design, video, print, event, and social media projects. Stay up to date on design trends and software;

Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelors's degree in graphic design, interactive arts, media, or related field;
• A strong portfolio, including varied print, digital, and other examples;
• Must be detail oriented, conscientious, and have the ability to take creative ideas and translate them to visual presentations;
• Experience in copywriting, proofreading, and editing
• Proficiency with graphic design products (such as Photoshop, InDesign, and Canva) for photo, editing, and design, as well as video editing software
• Ability to work independently and confidently on multiple projects, while consistently delivering projects from concept to completion;
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
