Azure Architect
We are looking for a seasoned Azure Architect / Administrator who can step into the role with confidence and deliver immediate impact. Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer, this position requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional with exceptional communication skills and the proven ability to collaborate seamlessly across teams. The ideal candidate will bring both strategic insight and hands-on expertise, ensuring that our Azure infrastructure not only runs smoothly but continues to scale and evolve with the needs of the business. Key Responsibilities
- Cloud-based Solution Architecture (Define components, flow, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that all requirements are satisfied)
- Cloud-based Resource Management (e.g., virtual machines, accounts, networking, etc.)
- Operational excellence (Implement robust monitoring and alerting)
- High Availability / Disaster Strategy (cross–data center replication, redundancy, etc.)
- Operations / Support (Troubleshoot and resolve issues with a proactive approach to root cause analysis and long-term stability)
- Cyber Risk & Controls (Ensure that the infrastructure is secure and protects customer data and access)
- Documentation (Document infrastructure, flows, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of Azure experience (migration from on-premises data centers a plus)
- Proven Azure administrative experience defining VM’s, Servers Load Balancers and other aspects to the Azure administrative responsibilities
- Experience with cloud-based solutions architect environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with other cloud providers as well (such as AWS and GCP)
- Azure based certification(s)
CP Payroll believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of this role's hiring base salary range is $97,000 - $125.000. The actual salary offered may be outside of this range depending on a variety of factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s education, training, experience, location, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, all CP Payroll team members receive equity and participate in either an annual bonus plan (7.5%), based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
