What You Will Do

  • Innovate in the AI/MLOps domain by participating in upstream communities
  • Create UI features that enable AI Engineers, Data Scientists and System Admins to use generative AI and predictive intelligence within their enterprises, leveraging PatternFly and ReactJS.
  • Integrate new open source AI/ML upstream codebases and new features into Red Hat OpenShift AI
  • Ensure non-functional requirements including security, resiliency, scalability, and maintainability are met
  • Write unit and integration tests, and work with quality engineers to ensure product quality end to end. Own the system.
  • Write automation scripts to streamline the building and configuration of clusters for your team
  • Utilize and contribute upstream to a UI pattern library and wireframes from user experience design counterparts to build a reusable, componentized UI implementation for end users
  • Mentor, influence, and coach a distributed team of engineers

What You Will Bring

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and JavaScript, with modern CSS best practices
  • Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, or other cloud-native technologies
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Cypress, Jest, or React Testing Library
  • Experience with Git and Linux environments
  • Strong system-level troubleshooting skills
  • Experience working in agile environments and contributing to open source projects
  • Passion for writing clean, maintainable code
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills In English

The following are considered a plus

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or other related discipline
  • Knowledge or experience working with MLOps and AI technologies

The salary range for this position is $118,600.00 - $195,680.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
