Senior principal technical program manager
Job Description
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is undertaking a greenfield initiative to design and build foundational infrastructure and platform solutions. We are seeking a Snr. Principal Technical Program Manager to lead key initiatives in the team. You will work across multiple teams to plan and deliver on new greenfield initiatives. This is a high-visibility, quick paced role that requires a TPM adept at keeping multiple workstreams running, while driving execution and delivery of milestones daily. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and excellent communicator who can prioritize appropriately, drive clarity, and work well with people at all levels. You are highly organized, process-oriented, and comfortable working across a variety of teams to identify and implement the right mechanisms to deliver on the vision of our future state. This is a rare opportunity to work on a zero-to-one project and help shape the foundations of OCI's future infrastructure.
Responsibilities

Define scope, plans, and milestones for building and delivering a new infrastructure

Drive improvements of existing apps deployed on OCI infrastructure

Ensure timely delivery of milestones, as well as executive leadership visibility and alignment of key deliverables

Manage risks and issues, paths to green, and delivery planning for program

Facilitate and drive technical discussions across multiple teams, leading to buy-in and alignment across teams and up through leadership

Collaborate with and work across multiple teams to define and rollout best practices

Work with partner teams outside our organization and externally with Oracle
Responsibilities

10+ years leading large cross-functional technical programs
-
10+ years of experience in program/project management, release management, or related field
-
Program Management Leader who run large cross OCI programs independently and represent the org and program needs in all exec forums

Experience efficiently and effectively communicating status to cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and broader organizations (technical and non-technical stakeholders)

Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and Development/Engineering staff at all levels, including the executive level

Solid analytical, planning, and interpersonal skills with an ability to handle competing demands.

Expertise in leading technical design discussions and ability to summarize complex trade-offs and options in presentation and technical documentation

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $109,200 to $223,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
