Project Manager (Norfolk County)
A well-established national electrical and renewable energy contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support utility-scale and commercial solar projects across the Northeast.
This role is ideal for a construction professional with a strong background in electrical contracting, renewable energy, or large-scale infrastructure projects. The Project Manager will oversee all phases of project execution, from planning and budgeting through closeout, while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, and deliverables
- Track project progress and provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinate closely with field supervision, subcontractors, vendors, and clients
- Lead project meetings and maintain accurate project documentation
- Manage change orders, project closeout materials, and reporting
- Support estimating efforts and cost forecasting
- Identify and resolve project issues, delays, and conflicts proactively
- Build and manage project budgets while identifying cost-saving opportunities
- Procure materials, equipment, and subcontractor services as needed
- Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and profitability
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in project management within construction, electrical contracting, or renewable energy
- Strong understanding of construction processes and project delivery
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with project management software platforms such as Procore or similar tools
- Willingness to travel up to 25% to project sites
