Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity from July 1 to July 30, supporting student well-being and success as a skilled school psychologist. Working 16-20 hours per week, you'll utilize your expertise to provide psychoeducational assessments, counseling, and targeted interventions for students. This short-term role is ideal for those passionate about fostering positive educational experiences within school environments.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid school psychologist certification appropriate for public school settings
- Experience with psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
- Strong understanding of child development, academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and administrators
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret findings to guide individualized educational planning
- Provide direct counseling and support services to students, addressing academic, social, and emotional concerns
- Collaborate with staff and families to develop strategies and interventions that enhance student learning and well-being
- Participate in eligibility and team meetings, offering insights grounded in assessment and observation
- Maintain thorough, confidential documentation compliant with all relevant guidelines
- Partner closely with interdisciplinary teams to advocate for student needs
