Job Title: Brazier/Welder

Job Description

Join our manufacturing team to construct large climate control devices. We seek a skilled welder/brazier experienced in brazing copper to install and fabricate piping systems while assisting with production. This role involves laying out and assembling piping systems by following blueprints and building codes, brazing pipe joints, and using tools like pipe cutters and saws. You will document your progress and ensure the systems are correctly assembled. Pay will range between $25 - $30 an hour based on previous pipe fitting experience and brazing.

Responsibilities

• Work with the manufacturing team to construct climate control devices.
• Lay out and assemble piping systems following blueprints and building codes.
• Brazing pipe joints together.
• Cut, thread, and fit pipes using various tools such as pipe cutters and saws.
• Install and modify piping systems to ensure correct assembly into units.
• Read mechanical and engineering drawings.
• Document steps and progress throughout the process.

Essential Skills

• Experience in pipefitting.
• Experience in brazing copper.
• Ability to work with various pipe materials including steel, copper, and PVC.
• Experience in pipe welding.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• EPA universal certification is a plus.
• Brazing certifications are advantageous.
• Experience working in manufacturing environments.

Work Environment

The work hours are from 6am to 4pm, Monday through Thursday. The facility is very clean, organized, and newly constructed, offering a professional and efficient work environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
