Compounds Technician Second Shift
Seeking a Compounds Technician on 2nd shift for a high growth manufacturing company in the Woburn, MA area. The Compounds Tech would be responsible for working with chemicals where they will mix, dispense, and label batches according to specifications. Some of the day-to-day functions include weigh up, Mix, dispensing, packaging, and labeling of compound materials. Shift hours are 2:15p to 10:45p! Eligible for quarterly bonus! education: High School responsibilities:
- Read work orders and batch cards to determine production specifications.
- Precision weigh liquids, adhesives, paint, and other conductive chemicals.
- Mix materials according to batch card requirements.
- Dispense material into appropriate containers.
- Print and apply labels and complete basic product packaging.
- Record production information using the "Day by Hour" method.
- Perform quality checks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and sustain the Safety and 5S programs.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
- Experience level: Entry Level
