Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray (Afternoons) Worcester, MA

Rate: $32/hr.
Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 (paid quarterly first year; first payout on first paycheck).
Shift Type: Afternoons.
Shift Times: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM / 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM.
Hours/Day: 8.
Shift Notes: 2nd shift, includes weekends.
Weekend Requirements: Based on case load - may constitute overtime.
On-Call: Yes - discussed at interview.

Position Overview:

• Provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other facilities using portable radiography equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and process X-Rays using portable DR/CR equipment; transmit images to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Transport and unload equipment from company vehicle into facilities to perform ordered exams.
• Ensure clinically diagnostic, technically competent imaging.
• Perform and transmit EKGs to Cardiologist (as required).
• Scan and upload exam paperwork/billing documents daily per protocol.
• Communicate professionally and efficiently with peers, management, dispatch, and clients.
• Position duties also include tasks outlined in full job description, Handbook, or assigned by management.

Physical Demands:

• Push/pull 50–100 lbs using ramps/pulleys (weight varies in facilities and during transport).
• Force up to 50 lbs or more may occur 16-24 times daily.

Requirements:

• Maintain required State license/ARRT certification and health/operational requirements.
• Valid driver's license in good standing.
• COVID-19 vaccination required (exemptions require approved documentation).

Certification Requirements:

• ARRT - Required.

State License Requirements:

• Massachusetts license required.
• Limited license not accepted.
