Teacher

Schechter Boston is looking for an EEC Certified Teacher to join Gan Shelanu, our Early Childhood Program for the 2025-2026 academic year. The ideal candidate will have experience and a love for working with children. We are looking for someone who enjoys collaboration when creating a nurturing and exciting environment for young learners.

Job Description:

• Create and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum based on Judaic themes combined with the interests of the children
• Develop experiences to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of children.
• Clearly and effectively communicate with children, parents and staff.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate must be warm, nurturing and passionate about working with young children.
• Understanding of a play based learning environment
• A minimum of a Massachusetts EEC teacher certification and a Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
• Two years of experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift 40 pounds, and sit on the floor.
• Must have access to reliable transportation, as the school is not accessible by public transportation.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Pay & Benefits:

Competitive salary $40,000-$65,000; commensurate with experience.
