Card Conversion Cell Equipment Operator

Picture this: the line is ready, materials are staged, and you power up the card conversion cell. You load materials, dial in settings, and keep a close eye on sheet registration. When wrapper film needs swapping or tear tape needs attention, you move quickly. A minor tweak to the slitting knives? A tooling change on the Ruge & Singer—chisels and anvils included—to preserve perfect cut quality? You’ve got it handled. Throughout the shift, you log production, quality, and safety data in SAP and keep the operation running smoothly to TPM standards.

What you’ll do

• Operate and monitor card conversion cell equipment with confidence and precision.
• Load materials and run all machines within the card cell; make necessary basic adjustments during operation.
• Change wrapper film and tear tape; perform minor slitting-knife adjustments.
• Perform tooling adjustments on the Ruge & Singer, including changing chisels and anvils to maintain cut quality.
• Complete simple repairs and adjust set-up parameters to address material and sheet registration changes.
• Assist with changeovers: swap cutter shafts, set ME tooling, and fine-tune conveyors, scales, guides, rails, feeders, and machine parameters.
• Uphold Production, Quality, Safety, and TPM standards throughout the shift.
• Maintain accurate records; generate production/safety/quality documentation and complete goods receipt activities in SAP.
• Handle materials to support the full card conversion process.
• Train new card conversion operators as needed and communicate effectively with teammates and supervision/group leaders.

What you bring

• Prior machine operation or manufacturing experience.
• Clear, professional communication and sufficient English proficiency to read manuals, procedures, and work instructions and to follow operational direction.

Shifts & pay

• 1st: 6:30am–2:30pm
• 2nd: 2:30pm–10:30pm
• 3rd: 10:30pm–6:30am
• $21/hr + shift differential
