Paving Laborer
Taylor Davis Landscape and Construction is seeking a Laborer to join our team!
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. As a Paving Laborer, you will play a crucial role in assisting the paving crew with various tasks related to demo, prep, fine grading, and paving of all paving projects.Responsibilities:
- Assist paving crew with the preparation and layout of job sites.
- Can proficiently shovel and rake asphalt.
- Ability to operate a skidsteer as needed for clean up or feeding the paver.
- Transport materials, tools, and equipment to job sites as needed.
- Operate power tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure a safe and organized work environment.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries on the job site.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and other team members to coordinate work activities and ensure project deadlines are met.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- OSHA 10
