Position Summary
The Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing client relationships, and growing revenue for the staffing agency. This role focuses on identifying companies with hiring needs, presenting staffing solutions, negotiating service agreements, and partnering with recruiters to deliver qualified talent. The ideal candidate is a motivated sales professional with strong prospecting, relationship-building, and closing skills.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify and pursue new client opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, email campaigns, and social selling.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients across targeted industries.
- Schedule and conduct client meetings to understand workforce and hiring needs.
- Present staffing, recruiting, and workforce solutions to decision-makers.
- Generate new business through strategic outreach and relationship management.
Account Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Conduct regular client visits and follow-up meetings to ensure satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities for account growth and additional staffing services.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client concerns and workforce needs.
- Ensure high levels of client retention and customer service.
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
- Negotiate staffing agreements, rates, and service terms.
- Prepare proposals, contracts, and pricing recommendations.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
- Collaborate with recruiting teams to ensure successful candidate placements.
Collaboration
- Partner closely with recruiters to communicate client requirements and priorities.
- Participate in sales meetings, pipeline reviews, and business development planning.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM systems.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of B2B sales, staffing, recruiting, or business development experience preferred.
- Proven success in prospecting, lead generation, and closing sales.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
