Developer
Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Waltham, MA. The candidate must have hands-on experience managing multi-session AVD environments and proficiency with Terraform and Nerdio Manager for automation and scaling.
Rate Range: $53/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Developer Job Responsibilities Include- Design and deploy multi-session Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.
- Automate infrastructure and scaling policies using Terraform and Nerdio Manager for Enterprise.
- Integrate DevSecOps practices into CI/CD pipelines to embed security controls in AVD builds and application deployments.
- Monitor and troubleshoot AVD performance issues, proactively resolving user experience challenges.
- Implement and maintain security best practices, including RBAC, MFA, patch compliance, and session host hardening.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support seamless end-user experiences and maintain technical documentation and compliance standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience managing and developing AVD environments.
- Proficiency in Terraform and Nerdio Manager for Enterprise for infrastructure automation, scaling, and image lifecycle management.
- Strong understanding of multi-session Windows 10/11 environments, security best practices, and DevSecOps integration in CI/CD pipelines.
