Group Director/Director, Connections Planning AMP Agency is looking for a Group Director/Director, Connections Planning. This person will be the strategic architect of communication plans and consumer experiences, connecting meaningful insights to powerful marketing experiences. They sit at the intersection of insights, innovation, technology, and media, partnering closely with AMP's Strategy, Creative, Media, Tech, Creative, and Analytics teams to ensure an idea is properly integrated across all channels, to create the best business outcomes for our clients. This role is critical in deciding how consumers will experience a brand at the different touch points of their consumer journey, and what those touch points are: from owned assets like app/web, social and retail, to various paid media channels such as programmatic, CTV and outdoor.This role calls for a strategist with a creative heart, organizational knack, strong voice, and an analytical mind who can contextualize an idea within the appropriate channels, sell this idea to internal stakeholders and clients with conviction, and ultimately ensure that creative execution and media work in perfect harmony.Requirements/Skills: Bachelor"s Degree in a related discipline (preferably in Business, Communications, Marketing, or Cultural Studies program)6+ years of experience within Communications or Brand Strategy for Director; Strong hands-on experience with sales and new business, pitch development and presentationSignificant exposure to research, media planning and creative ideation processesMaster of cultural, technology, and media trends & best practicesStrong ability to balance the data-driven nature of today's media environment and deliver creative innovation Responsibilities:Lead the Connections Planning discipline and processes across select accountsParticipate regularly in new business pitches in partnership with AMP's New Business team and capability teamsDetermine the communications tasks for each campaign, then decide on the right channels and their roles in meeting these communication tasksPartner closely with the Strategy/Research/Insights and Media Planning teams to develop connections plans and well-rounded marketing strategies that are grounded in insightsCreate measurable campaign KPIs in partnership with Analytics teams, helping to enhance creative & media effectiveness and improve sell rate of innovative ideasPartner closely with AMP's Creative team, and inter-agency teams, to ensure creative ideas are woven into an integrated mix of owned, earned and paid channels, and are deployed via innovative, targeted media and technologyAct as a strategic consultant for AMP's Tech, PR, and Owned team, and/or clients' owned channel teams, to ensure that the communication idea is adopted and executed seamlessly throughout social, CRM/Email, PR, and web propertiesResponsible for demonstrating an understanding of consumer behaviors within media, and a working knowledge of media relevant to the client's business including TV, digital, social, experiential, print, OOH, and searchShowcase an understanding of digital, social and emerging platforms and technologiesReport to and closely collaborate with the SVP, Media & Performance Analytics to drive best-in-class workBring thought leadership to clients and AMP Agency as a wholeInteract with clients and lead brainstorming sessions and workshops About AMP Agency AMP Agency is a full-service, integrated marketing agency with offices in Boston, New York, Seattle and Los Angeles.
