About the Role:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in delivering compassionate and high-quality care to patients within healthcare and social assistance settings. This position focuses on assisting patients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and dignity while supporting the nursing staff in clinical tasks. Minimum Qualifications:

• Completion of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant training program.
• Current and valid CNA certification/license in the state of employment.
• Basic understanding of patient care procedures and safety standards.
• Ability to pass a background check and meet health screening requirements.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working as a CNA in a healthcare or long-term care facility.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Additional training or certification in specialized care areas such as geriatrics or rehabilitation.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
• Provide basic patient care under the supervision of nursing staff, including turning and repositioning bedridden patients to prevent pressure ulcers.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients by following infection control protocols and safety guidelines.

The required skills enable the CNA to provide attentive and precise patient care, ensuring that daily living needs are met with empathy and professionalism.
