The Senior Accountant will focus on family office bill paying, monthly financial reporting and analysis, reconciliations, and preparation of monthly, year-to-date, and annual financial statement s .

Senior Accountant Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• Minimum 5 years of accounting
• Strong understanding of family office reporting
• Ability to analyze financial statements and data
• Proficiency in Yardi and Microsoft Office Suit e software
• Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and consistently meets deadlines
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Must possess the ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity

Senior Accountant Job Responsibilities

• Process monthly expenses through Yardi system
• Get proper authorization for all expenses paid
• Bank r econciliations
• Variance a nalysis
• Monitor and b ook c ash receipts
• Provide organized monthly reporting to CFO
• Check all transactions and provide variance analysis when requested

• Prepare accurate y ear end audit packages to provide to tax consultants
• Assist with tax audits by gathering information and preparing documents
• Monitor and record all business-related expenses to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Maintain detailed records and receipts for all expenses to support tax filings and deductions
• Classify expenses correctly for accurate reporting and deduction claims
• Prepare and organize expense records
• Any other accounting project assigned for family office
