Mobile Diesel Technician - Fleet (Tractors & Trailers)

Location: Worcester, MA

Schedule: 4 ten-hour shifts | 2:00 PM – 1:00 AM
Days: Sunday–Wednesday
Pay: $25–$40/hour + monthly bonuses

Mobile Diesel Technician (Fleet)

FleetPride is seeking a skilled Mobile Diesel Technician to support f leet operations across multiple customer locations and distribution hubs. This role primarily involves on-site lot and hub-based work using a company-provided service truck ( take-home eligible ).

The technician will perform heavy-duty trailer repairs along with tractor preventative maintenance (PM) services in a structured, predictable fleet environment — not random roadside dispatching.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Perform preventative maintenance on both tractors and trailers.
• Complete DOT inspections.
• Diagnose and repair air brake systems, electrical/lighting, brakes, wheel ends, and suspension.
• Perform light-to-moderate tractor PM work , including fluid checks, inspections, and basic diagnostics.
• Repair trailer components including landing gear, doors, lift gates, and related systems.
• Provide mobile fleet service across designated locations and hubs.
• Communicate clearly with service managers, writers, and customers.

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of heavy-duty truck and trailer repair experience.
• Experience performing PMs on tractors and trailers in a fleet or mobile environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to provide your own tools and toolbox.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• CDL preferred but not required.
• Safety-focused, motivated, and efficient work ethic.

Proficiency In:

• Preventative maintenance.
• Air systems.
• Electrical diagnostics and repairs.
• Brakes, wheel ends, suspension.
• Trailer components including landing gear, doors, and lift gates.
