Job Title: Pharmacist

Location: Hyannis, MA 02601

Duration: 26 Weeks (High possibility of extension)

Hours: 40 Hours/Week

Shift Details:

• Primarily Night Shift: 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Occasional Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM
• Every Other Weekend & Holiday Required
• Includes a 30-minute unpaid break

Compensation:

• Local Pay: $3,000/week
• Travel Pay: $3,600/week

Note: Travel and housing reimbursements are not provided.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Pharmacist to support medication management and pharmaceutical care in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient safety and quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Review, verify, and dispense medications accurately and safely
• Monitor medication therapy and evaluate patient responses
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams regarding medication management
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, policies, and safety standards
• Provide drug information and pharmaceutical guidance to healthcare staff and patients
• Maintain accurate medication records and documentation
• Monitor for potential drug interactions, contraindications, and medication errors
• Support inventory management and medication storage procedures
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent Pharmacist experience required
• Active Massachusetts Pharmacist License required
• Graduate of an Accredited Pharmacy Program required
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices, medication safety, and clinical pharmacy standards
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare setting
