GSE Mechanic III - SEA Airport

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

Wage: $34-$38/hr

The GSE Mechanic Level III is responsible for performing advanced maintenance and repairs on both motorized and non-motorized airline and aircraft ground support equipment.

WHAT ITS LIKE TO WORK AS A GSE MECHANIC III

• Inspect maintain troubleshoot repair overhaul or modify various systems and components including engines transmissions electrical hydraulic pneumatic systems and more
• Diagnose and repair mechanical electrical and hydraulic issues using test equipment and manuals in accordance with safety and industry standards
• Service equipment with necessary fluids such as fuel oil hydraulic fluid water and compressed air
• Operate test and assess ground equipment performance and complete related documentation and parts tracking
• Adhere to safety procedures and demonstrate high standards of customer service and professionalism
• Exemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS

• 18 years of age or older
• Eligible to work in the United States
• 6 years of verified experience required
• Must provide their own tools and toolbox
• Demonstrate regular predictable attendance at job location
• Must have a valid state-issued drivers license with an acceptable driving record
• Communicate effectively in English (reading writing speaking)
• Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically including the use of electronic devices including IPads/Tablets Computers and Mobile Devices
• Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients both in-person and through electronic means
• Pass a background check and drug screen
• Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA TSA Port Authority U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
• Airlines are 24/7 so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights weekends and holidays
