Mechanical Engineer, Navy
- Review customer specifications and develop comprehensive design proposals for various valve applications.
- Create CAD models and detailed manufacturing drawings from concept sketches and legacy designs.
- Provide technical support to internal teams, including quality, manufacturing, sales, and purchasing.
- Troubleshoot and assist with shop floor activities, from material issues to valve assembly and testing.
- Prepare procedures for assembly, testing, and qualification, and perform stress analysis for products and materials.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related Engineering Technology field.
- Knowledge of manufacturing environments and processes.
- 3+ years of experience as a mechanical or product engineer in a manufacturing setting, ideally with engineered-to-order products.
- Familiarity with product data management systems and bill of materials development.
- Technical knowledge of valves and valve products.
- Understanding of ASME Codes and Standards.
