Wastewater Treatment Operator

Weston & Sampson Services is currently looking for a Wastewater Treatment Operator to support operations and maintenance in the Upper Cape Cod Region.

What you'll do:

1. Monitoring and observing operating conditions and adjusting process controls as necessary
2. Troubleshooting of plant equipment and performing minor maintenance as necessary
3. Collecting samples and performing routine lab tests
4. Maintaining compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements
5. General housekeeping at facilities
6. Maintaining accurate records of operations and maintenance activities
7. Compiling monthly data for compliance reporting

What you will bring:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required
• A minimum MA Grade 4M Wastewater Treatment Operator License
• Knowledge of MA DEP regulation of plan O&M is desirable
• Familiarity with computers in a Windows based environment
• Must be able to work outdoors in all climates, climb ladders and lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Valid driver's license
