Commercial and Residential Product Finisher (Westfield)
Scope of Position :
Performs a wide variety of duties on the Production Floor including hanging parts, product inspection, Paint Line preparation, oven and spray gun operation, and packing assistance
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
List what the person must do to perform the job to meet standards:
- Assists in the production process of residential and/or commercial heating products and prepares them for the finishing process(es)
- Gathers materials and set up products for painting process
- Identifies and loads products onto Paint Line conveyor
- Sets up, operates and maintains spray gun for touch up painting
- Unloads product from conveyor and assists in packing covers and accessories
- Assembles, staples and maintains carton inventory
- Packs finished HVAC parts/systems for shipping
- Load/unloads powder paint, maintains inventory
- Assists in cleaning & maintaining washer and burn off oven
- Uses hand trucks to move products
- Performs similar or related duties as requested or required
Position Requirements:
The Residential/ Commercial Product Finisher must possess the minimum knowledge listed below:
- Prior manufacturing experience a plus
- Ability to read, write and follow both verbal and written work orders
- Strong communications skills
- Familiarity with hand, air and packing tools
- Ability to operate hoists, hand and platform trucks as necessary
- Capability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
- Capability to lift 50 to 100 pounds intermittently in a team lift situation
- Ability to do repetitive bending, reaching, stretching, lifting and twisting
