About the Role
The Master Plumber will use their expertise and skills to review and prepare projects using their knowledge of bath systems and plumbing. They are responsible for making recommendations on how to successfully complete contract and create materials list, and track action items through the entirety of the project. Use Master Plumber license to pull permits as required. Assemble fittings and be on site to oversee work performed. Assess and make repairs for warranty requests. Perform scheduled and unscheduled installations, inspections, and emergency service calls. Is required to participate in "On Call" services including after-hours, weekend, and holiday rotation (Rotation based on staff levels).
What You'll Do:
Installing, maintaining, and preparing pipes including joins, valves, drains, and fixtures in all bath systems.
Coordinate and manage jobs with installers and professionals on the job site.
Understand and follow bathroom blueprints.
Follow all inspection guidelines, policies and regulations relating to plumbing installation.
Respond to plumbing emergencies (including nights and weekends), determining the issue, and making the repair if needed.
Review company materials including contract, measure documents, and pictures to determine job specifications.
Determine projects that require permitting, work with admin staff to apply for and submit permit applications.
Establish relationships with local municipalities and inspectors to ensure all projects meet code standards.
Assemble fittings and valves for installation.
Modify length of pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing materials as needed for projects.
Collaborates with field staff, installers, and electricians on all projects requiring plumbing expertise
Follow health and safety standards and comply with building codes
Document all issues and actions taken to fix issues. Follow up as needed
Oversee and train contractors and installers while in the field at a job site
Assist with training and oversee installers and service techs on plumbing installation and plumbing service
What You 'll Bring:
Pulling permits and performing all plumbing needs on a jobsite
Must hold a current Master Plumber License
Ability to read, understand, and follow safety procedure
Ability to grasp complex concepts easily
Strong attention to detail
Excellent planning, negotiating, and organizing skills
Preform with a high level of patience when working on the job site and with customers
Ability to operate in a systematic and logical manner
Ability to use good judgment
