Job Description

As a Security Officer - Control Room Dispatcher in Lexington, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at a fast-paced healthcare location, you will monitor activity across assigned areas, coordinate incident response, and support on-site teams through clear, professional communication. You will assist with routine patrol coordination, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and deliver customer service that reflects Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Operate the dispatch function by monitoring alarms, cameras, phones, and radios; prioritize calls for service; and coordinate officer assignments and communications.
• Document and relay incident details, access issues, and service requests using required logs and reporting systems, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting medical staff, facilities teams, and local responders during urgent events.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including interior spaces and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
