Learning Support Specialist / Educational Teaching Assistant
Location: Boston, MA
Pay: $30–$35/hour
Employment Type: Contract

You'll work one-on-one with a student, adapting classroom instruction to fit their learning style while partnering closely with teachers and the student's family.

- Provide one-on-one academic support throughout the school day.
- Adapt classroom lessons to meet the student's learning needs.
- Support focus, organization, and classroom transitions.
- Collaborate with teachers to align instruction and learning goals.
- Communicate progress with the school team and family.
- Maintain daily progress notes.
- Associate degree or diploma in Education, Special Education, or a related field (Bachelor's preferred).
- Experience providing one-on-one or small-group instruction.
- Knowledge of differentiated instruction and individualized learning strategies.
- Familiarity with ADHD, attention challenges, and executive functioning support.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Reliable, patient, and able to work independently in a school setting.
