Travel Nurse

TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.

Job Description & Requirements

Med Surg RN (MS/Tele)

Position Requirements (No Exceptions)

• Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of current Med Surg experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Must be willing to float
• Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required
• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
• Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment

RTO Policy (Strict)

• All Requested Time Off (RTO) must be disclosed and verified at time of profile upload
• RTO requests submitted after upload will not be approved
• Maximum 5 days RTO (less is preferred)

Submission Requirements (Critical)

• At least two specific interview dates/times must be included in the profile
  • “Anytime” will NOT be accepted
  • Profiles missing this information will not be presented
• Perm address must be included at profile upload to avoid processing delays

Local Policy

• Travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered

Unit Information

• Unit Size: 20–34 beds (varies by unit)
• Patient Ratio: Typically 1:6
• Dress Code: Personal scrubs (any color)

Additional Details

• 8 hours non-billable orientation
• Holiday & OT multiplier: 1.25
