Locum MD (Medical Doctor);DO (Osteopathic Doctor); Anesthesiology
Description
This is a contract position that requires on-site work, offering an excellent opportunity for medical professionals looking to gain experience in a supportive staffing and recruiting environment.
As a Locum Anesthesiologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality anesthetic care to patients in various clinical settings. You will collaborate closely with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes while enjoying the flexibility that comes with contract work.
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia and monitor patient vital signs during procedures
- Collaborate with surgical teams to develop anesthetic plans
- Provide pre-operative assessments and consultations for patients
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process
- Respond promptly to any anesthesia-related emergencies
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions
- Stay updated on best practices and advancements in anesthesiology
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Active medical license in the state of practice
- Experience in anesthesiology, preferably in a locum tenens capacity
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and safety
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, specific dates
No call requirement
Setting: Outpatient
Patient Volume: 10 per shift
Caseload: 100% GI
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
