The Position:
As a Restaurant Manager, at Double Bull Taphouse you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and maintaining excellent customer service. The successful candidate will have a passion for the restaurant industry, craft beer, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record working in high-volume restaurants.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the restaurant, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and staffing.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and sanitary restaurant environment.
- Maintain excellent customer service and respond to customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Create and maintain a positive work environment that fosters teamwork, communication, and a strong work ethic.
- Exude a high level of hospitality to our guests and employees.
- Hires, trains and develops new hourly team members.
- Optimizes profits by building sales and assisting with the control of food, labor and beverage costs.
- Provides leadership and direction to all team members - coaches in real time.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food and beverage service, inventory management, and staffing
- Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant technology
- Craft cocktail, wine and beer knowledge a plus
- Ability for stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs
