POSITION SUMMARY:

Magellan Jets is seeking a dynamic and talented Salesforce Developer to join our team. As a Salesforce Developer, you will play a critical role in optimizing and enhancing our Sales Cloud platform to streamline business processes and deliver a superior experience to our clients and internal teams. The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer and be certified in Salesforce development.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

As a Salesforce Developer, you will:

• Design and maintain tailored Salesforce solutions to meet business needs.


• Develop APEX code, including classes and triggers, to implement custom business logic effectively.


• Create engaging Visualforce pages and Lightning components to enhance user interfaces and improve user experience.


• Utilize Data Loader for seamless data import, export, and manipulation within the Salesforce platform.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design innovative solutions, and implement Salesforce enhancements.


• Integrate Salesforce with external systems by leveraging APIs and various integration tools.


• Conduct unit testing and debugging of Salesforce solutions to ensure optimal performance and maintain data integrity.


• Assist in documenting technical specifications, workflows, and configurations for future reference.

COMPETENCIES:

Knowledge:

• A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer


• Salesforce Developer Certification required


• Proficiency in Salesforce Sales Cloud and related objects


• Familiarity with Data Loader and data manipulation


• Experience with Salesforce integration with external systems

Skills:

• Experience in writing APEX code, including classes and triggers


• Ability to create Visualforce pages and Lightning components


• Utilization of Data Loader to import, export, and manipulate data within Salesforce platform


• Perform unit testing and debugging of Salesforce solutions

Abilities:

• Develop and maintain custom Salesforce solutions


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement Salesforce enhancements

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position doesn’t have any supervisory responsibilities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Location: Primarily office-based, with 1 remote/ work from home day each week


• Conditions: General office environment with moderate noise levels. Occasional travel to aircraft or client locations may be required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Extended periods sitting at a desk or workstation


• Occasional walking/ movement between work areas (e.g., meetings, restrooms, or kitchen)


• Repetitive Hand and Wrist Movements via frequent typing and use of a mouse


• Light lifting of office supplies, documents, or equipment (up to 20 lbs)


• Screen Use: Prolonged use of a computer screen

POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:

This is a Full-Time Exempt position.

TRAVEL:

Limited, but may require occasional overnight travel for industry conferences, client meetings, or operational oversight at other locations.
