Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A licensed Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a full-time, onsite contract position in Springfield, MA, serving students for the 2026–2027 academic year. This role focuses on delivering high-quality speech and language services within a school environment from August 2026 through June 2027.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in bilingual students.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student progress discussions.
- Ensure timely arrival and departure, and communicate promptly regarding any absences.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Massachusetts SLP license with certification in speech-language pathology.
- Proven experience working as a Speech Language Pathologist in school settings.
- Bilingual proficiency to effectively serve diverse student populations.
- Ability to complete state-required fingerprinting and background checks.
- Reliable transportation to ensure consistent onsite presence.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
