Swampscott: Full Time Nanny/Household Manager

Hello Caregivers!

Our wonderful Swampscott family is looking for an experienced full time nanny/household manager to join their team! This position requires help with household management tasks while child attends school (8:00am-3:00pm). Nanny care is required after school hours or any days child is not in school. Nanny will be responsible for school pick up. Ideal candidates are warm, confident, and reliable team players. We would love to hear from you if you love outdoor activities and are a strong swimmer! Preference given to flexible candidates that are available to work occasional over-nights, travel with the family, and come early or stay late as needed.

Base Hours: Monday-Friday 11:00am-7:00pm

Charges: Boy, 6 years old

Hourly Rate: $30+/hour, competitive based on experience and fit

*Additional flat overnight/travel rate for hours that child is asleep, rate negotiable

Benefits: Guaranteed 40 hours minimum pay/week, 2 weeks paid vacation, major holidays paid/off, 5 sick/personal days

Start Date : Early September 2025, flexibility for earlier start if preferred

Job description:

• Creating a safe and stimulating environment for the child
• Facilitating engaging and age appropriate activities, games, and outings
• Maintaining child's schedule
• Preparing meals and snacks for child
• Indoor and outdoor play
• Transporting child from school and activities (family provides vehicle for caregiver's use)
• Walks, swimming, and plenty of outdoor time
• Household management tasks (during hours that child attends school) including but not limited to: laundry help, organizing, running errands, grocery shopping, help with basic meal prep, wiping down surfaces, emptying/loading dishwasher, general clean up and tidying (no deep cleaning)

Requirements:

• 5+ years professional childcare experience
• Looking for long-term commitment
• Flexibility with reasonable advanced notice
• Self-starter with a pitch-in attitude
• Non-smokers only, please.
• Up-to-date CPR/First Aid Certification
• Cheery and Helpful Disposition
• Background Check (provided by agency)
• Driving Record (provided by agency)
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent organization skills
• Takes good direction on parenting style then requires minimal to no oversight
