At Livius Prep, we empower every student to achieve their academic goals through personalized, high-impact instruction. We’re seeking experienced educators who are passionate about mentoring students and want to focus fully on teaching—without the burden of managing billing, scheduling, or administrative logistics.
We are currently hiring a highly accomplished Tutor for a part-time, in-person role. This position involves working directly with high school students to prepare them for standardized tests and guide them through the college admissions process.

What We’re Looking For:
We’re specifically seeking candidates with a proven track record of helping students achieve academic improvements. You should be confident in your ability to deliver results and build meaningful relationships with students and families.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver 1-on-1 instruction
Create and implement personalized tutoring plans
Teach strategies to improve confidence and performance
Stay current on test formats and admissions trends
Track student progress and communicate with families and staff
Foster a motivating and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, or a related field
Demonstrated success in math/science tutoring
Deep understanding of test taking strategies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable transportation within the Boston area
Availability for evenings, weekends, and some daytime flexibility
