The Senior Project Manager is accountable for the leadership of all daily operations and planning, with the goal being to ensure that all efforts to perform the work will be completed in the most efficient manner possible. executive team, the Senior Project Manager is responsible for Project Superintendents of Pave, Commercial Seal & Lines, Concrete & Construction, Residential Sealcoat, Snow, and Estimating. The Senior Project Manager is involved in all decisions within the responsibilities of the position and is provided the necessary authority and resources to fulfill the role.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing and handling the daily business operations of the company, working closely with department heads and supervisors to support the day-to-day activities of employees. All areas of responsibility include the day-to-day leadership and management of people and operations in ways that mirror the objectives and key commitments of the company.
· Oversight and leadership of all daily operations with the goal being to ensure that all efforts to perform the work will be completed in the most efficient manner possible with the result of customer satisfaction and profit for the company.
· Works together with the VP of Sales and Marketing and CFO to ensure alignment of the revenue needs, crew and equipment needs and the financial needs for the upcoming 24 months. Once established, the COO will work with the Ops team to establish, execute, and manage an annual operations plan designed to meet these objectives.
· Works together with the VP of Sales and Marketing to ensure continued improvement of the Own the Job Program, the Sales Foreman Communication program, and the self-quoting program.
· Review analysis of the Work in Progress Schedule, incentive reports and other job cost reports provided by Job Costing and work with the Ops team to identify and implement changes that can be made to improve profitability.
· Responsible for annually establishing and presenting to the President a budget for direct and indirect field operations for the upcoming 24 months. Once approved by the President, responsibility shifts to managing and updating the budget on a weekly basis.
· Driving the company’s safety message to the operations team and marketing team to ensure that safety is at all times top of mind day in and day out.
· Other duties as required to support the growing organization.

· Extensive experience in estimating, with proficiency in interpreting construction plans, performing material takeoffs, and reviewing contract documents.
· Demonstrated ability to interpret and analyze financial statements to support informed decision making.
· Comprehensive understanding of job costing principles, including cost allocation, budgeting, and variance analysis.
Education
· Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or economics (or equivalent experience); MBA a plus.
· Engineering degree a plus.
Experience
· Minimum 8 years of Asphalt Paving & Concrete responsibility at an executive level, with experience achieving revenue and profitability targets.
· Minimum 5 years of managing Asphalt Paving, Concrete, or Construction job sites.
· Organizational management with the ability to coach senior staff to manage and develop high-performing teams.
