Job Title: Heat Treater Helper
Job Description

Join our team as a Heat Treater Helper, where you will play a crucial role in the heat treat process of screws. This process begins after the screws are manufactured and involves moving them to the heat treat building for processing. You will be responsible for placing 12-18 inch bolts individually within a metal rack to ensure proper coating during the heat treat furnace process.

Responsibilities

• Place bolts individually within metal racks for heat treatment.
• Stand on your feet for a minimum of 8 hours a day during the shift.
• Ensure proper handling and placement of screws for optimal coating.
• Collaborate with heat treat operators to maintain efficiency and safety.

• General production experience.
• Experience in racking and handling materials.
• Ability to perform general labor tasks.
• Experience with packaging, unloading, and loading.

• Proven attendance record from prior employers.

Work Environment

Work in a state-of-the-art Heat Treat facility alongside Heat Treat operators. This is a third shift role from Sunday to Thursday, 11 PM to 7:30 AM. You will be required to stand for extended periods. The facility is expanding with new temperature-controlled racking rooms being built. Enjoy a dynamic environment in one of our seven buildings located in Agawam.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Agawam, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.70 - $20.70/hr.
