Tax Senior
Kforce's client, a well-established professional services firm located just south of Boston, MA has an immediate need for a Tax Senior. They are one of the leading firms in and throughout the area. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review a variety of business, individual, trust, and partnership tax returns
- Research tax regulations and apply findings to client engagements
- Assist with tax planning, projections, and strategic recommendations
- Prepare and analyze year-end workpapers and supporting documentation
- Draft financial statements and related reporting packages
- Communicate directly with clients to gather information and address questions
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate project completion
- Support multiple engagements while meeting deadlines during peak periods
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3+ years of public accounting or tax preparation experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax concepts
- Experience preparing complex individual and business tax returns
- Ability to research and interpret tax regulations
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency with tax software, Microsoft Excel, and related business applications
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- CPA certification or progress toward certification is a plus
