Automotive Parts Counter Person

Route 128 Honda – Reading, MA

Route 128 Honda is looking for a motivated Parts Counter Person to join our high-volume, customer-focused team. This role is a key part of our operation, supporting both retail customers and our busy service department with genuine Honda parts and accessories.

• Assist service technicians and retail customers in identifying and purchasing the correct parts
• Provide accurate pricing, availability, and product recommendations
• Manage parts orders, including special orders and backorders
• Receive, stock, and maintain inventory with accuracy
• Process transactions and complete paperwork efficiently
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and technicians to ensure timely repairs
• Maintain a clean, organized parts department
• Deliver a high level of customer service on every interaction

• Previous automotive parts experience preferred (dealership experience is a plus)
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts; Honda experience is a bonus
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
• Basic computer skills (CDK or similar system experience is a plus)
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

• $50,000 – $70,000 per year (based on experience and performance)
