• Job Title: MRI Technologist – Travel/Locum Tenens
• Location: Burlington, MA 01803 (Greater Boston area)
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital
• Employment Type: Travel/Contract (Locum Tenens)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 9/22/2025 – End: 12/20/2025)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift Schedule: Evening shifts, 12-hour shifts (Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM; Thursday & Friday: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM; Sunday: 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,580 - $2,650

MRI Technologist Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited imaging or radiologic technology program
• Current ARRT (MR) certification required
• ARRT (R) (MR) credentials
• Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist experience required; 3-5 years preferred
• Experience with Philips MRI equipment and ED/inpatient/vented patient MRI scans preferred
• Flu vaccine required prior to start (no declinations accepted)
• Must not have worked at any Beth Israel facility in the past six months
• Facility is not accepting local candidates for this Massachusetts healthcare job

MRI Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during all imaging procedures
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, including Philips MR systems
• Collaborate with radiologists and the healthcare team to deliver high-quality imaging results
• Follow hospital protocols and safety standards at all times
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to a diverse population
