Key Responsibilities:

• Provide urgent care for animals, diagnosing and treating illnesses, injuries, and emergencies.
• Prescribe and administer medications and treatments for critical cases.
• Perform surgeries as needed, focusing primarily on urgent care.
• Maintain accurate patient records .
• Communicate effectively with clients about their pets' health, treatment plans, and progress.

Qualifications:

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited institution (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program).
• Active license to practice in Massachusetts (or ability to obtain one).
• Experience in urgent care or emergency medicine is highly preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong clinical skills , ability to work independently, and perform under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both clients and team members.
