Senior Tax Professional (CPA required)

A growing CPA firm is looking for a Senior Tax Professional. The firm offers a hybrid work model, with in-office days on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and remote work on Monday and Friday.

What to know:

• Base salary of $100,000/year
• Hybrid set up – 3 days in office and 2 days remote
• Opportunity to be part of a well-known CPA Firm

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review complex tax returns, including corporate, partnership, individual, and fiduciary returns
• Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns, in accordance with federal, state, and local tax laws
• Manage all aspects of tax compliance, ensuring all filings are complete and submitted on time
• Serve as a primary point of contact for client inquiries, ensuring excellent service and maintaining long-term client relationships
• Conduct in-depth tax research on various topics, including emerging tax issues and regulatory changes, and interpret their impact on clients

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• CPA required
• 5+ years of experience in public accounting
• Experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Word, Excel, and ProSystem fx Tax
