Snowflake Developer
Kforce has a client in need of a Snowflake Developer in Boston, MA. Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and improve query speed, resource use, and storage
- Manage user roles and permissions for security and compliance
- Handle data loading, transformation, and extraction processes
- Resolve Snowflake issues, including performance and queries
- Maintain system records and generate performance reports
- Partner with data teams to ensure smooth Snowflake operations
- Apply best practices and recommend upgrades
- At a minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or database development
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake, including data modeling, performance tuning, and security
- Experience with source control tools (GitHub preferred), ETL/ELT tools and cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Experience or exposure to AI tools
- Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and analytics
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience integrating Snowflake with BI and reporting tools is a plus
