Independent Pharmacy Technician

Job Title: Pharmacy Technician Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire About the Role We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technicians to join our overnight team. Key Responsibilities + Accurately and efficiently fill daily drug orders under pharmacist supervision. + Process returned medications and handle recycling/disposal per established procedures. + Pre-pack frequently ordered medications, label, and store during low-volume periods. + Pull medications from shelving and storage areas; apply labels and scan for accuracy. + Alert pharmacists to any discrepancies or scanning issues. + Maintain workstation cleanliness and replenish stock supplies. + Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all applicable regulations. + Adhere to departmental policies on safety, attendance, and dress code. + Perform additional duties as assigned, including troubleshooting and data entry. Required Qualifications + Active New Jersey Pharmacy Technician Registration (must be obtained by hire date). + Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift. + Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. + Reliable transportation for on-site work. + Availability to work weekdays from 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM. Preferred Qualifications + Minimum 1 year of pharmacy or healthcare experience. + High school diploma or equivalent; higher education is a plus. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Westfield, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
