Sr Finance Associate - Private Debt POST NUMBER: 479921
We are seeking a Senior Finance Associate to support financial operations and analysis within a private debt environment. This role will focus on portfolio reporting, investment tracking, and financial analysis to support lending activities and strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Support financial reporting and performance analysis for private debt portfolios
- Build and maintain financial models related to loan structures, cash flow forecasting, and investment returns
- Monitor portfolio performance, including interest income, covenant compliance, and risk metrics
- Assist with deal execution activities, including financial due diligence and underwriting support
- Prepare internal and external reporting packages for senior management and investors
- Partner with investment, accounting, and operations teams to ensure accurate data and reporting
- Analyze borrower financial statements and track key credit metrics
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis initiatives
- Assist with audit processes and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3–6 years of experience in finance, private credit, banking, or asset management
- Experience with debt instruments, credit analysis, or leveraged finance preferred
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; familiarity with financial systems or data tools is a plus
- Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting concepts
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
