TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Special Procedures Tech for travel assignments in various healthcare facilities. The Special Procedures Tech will assist in advanced radiologic and interventional procedures , ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care. This role requires technical expertise, knowledge of specialized imaging techniques, and adherence to radiation safety standards to support physicians in diagnosing and treating complex conditions.
Responsibilities
- Perform specialized imaging procedures , including angiography, fluoroscopy, and interventional radiology .
- Assist physicians with minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures .
- Ensure radiation safety and proper shielding techniques .
- Operate advanced imaging equipment , such as C-arms and fluoroscopes .
- Monitor and document patient conditions during procedures.
- Maintain accurate imaging records and reports .
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and quality control checks .
- Travel to various healthcare facilities for temporary assignments as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field .
- Certification: ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT (VI) or (CV) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in special procedures or interventional radiology .
- Skills: Strong knowledge of special procedures, radiation safety, and sterile techniques .
- Travel Readiness: Willingness to take on travel assignments .
