HVAC Senior Estimator
We are a large growing HVAC/Plumbing contractor in Massachusetts that works on many of Massachusetts’s biggest and best HVAC/Plumbing projects. This is a full-time position with great benefits. We are planning to hire Massachusetts’s best and brightest HVAC/Plumbing Senior Estimator’s in the near future.
Responsibilities:
- Project document control.
- Read AutoCAD Drawings.
- Prepare mechanical estimate take-offs.
- Look for value engineering opportunities.
- Estimating projects and major buyout of projects.
- Visit with clients, general contractors and engineers.
- Identify and communicate conflicts and errors in estimates.
- Develop effective, profitable winning bids for upcoming projects.
- Coordinate manpower and provide schedules, and train junior estimators.
- Build Conceptual Estimates, and review with Sub-contractor the estimates and quotes.
Requirements
- Local
- Stable work history.
- 5+ years of experience in HVAC and Plumbing Estimating.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction or similar preferred.
- Knowledge in: State HVAC and Plumbing Codes, Quickpen/Accubid, BlueBeam, and Microsoft Excel.
