Elementary Special Education Teacher (LTS)

Alden Elementary School is seeking a highly qualified certified Special Education Teacher (LTS) for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year.

Requirements:

- Current certification from Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education with SEI Endorsement: Teachers of Students with Moderate Disabilities (Prk-8)

- Bachelors Degree or higher from accredited college or university

- Experience with IEP development and data collection

- Management skills that support students social emotional learning

-Instruction and classroom management skills that support students access to the general education curriculum content by providing specially designed instruction

- Collaboration with general education teachers to deliver universally designed instruction to all learners

- Experience meeting the needs of diverse learners in an elementary setting

- Experience in the adaptation and modification of curriculum and assessments

- Ability to plan and implement lessons that are aligned with Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks across varied subjects

- Citizenship residency or work visa required
