**Entry Level 2nd Shift Assembler** **** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated 2nd Shift Assembler to join our team. This role requires attention to detail and a strong understanding of mechanical assembly processes. You will work Monday through Thursday from 1:00 PM to 10:15 PM and Friday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. **Responsibilities** + Operate and maintain equipment such as grinders, drill presses, hydraulic presses, and rivet machines. + Perform tasks like gapping, lugging, and stamping. + Maintain a clean and organized workspace. + Build sub-assemblies and perform other duties as assigned. + Use hand and power tools to assemble products. + Read and interpret blueprints and material lists to pull parts from storage bins. + Identify parts by description, drawings, and simple measurements. + Assemble repetitive, routine production switches. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in reading and understanding English. + Experience with mechanical assembly and use of hand and power tools. + Ability to read blueprints and perform tasks according to specifications. + Familiarity with equipment such as grinders, drill presses, and hydraulic presses. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with wiring, soldering, and electronic assembly is a plus. + Ability to perform inspection and work with microscopes. + Experience in packaging and working in a cleanroom environment. + Familiarity with ISO 9000 quality standards. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that values camaraderie and growth, with frequent team outings and a promising future for the next 10-15 years. **Work Environment** You will work in a clean environment and be exposed to regular noise, dust, heat, cold, and odors.
