Assurance Senior Associate

Asa Senior Associate, you may serve as the engagement lead on specific client accounts, taking responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution and final deliverables.You will develop detailed engagement work plans, illustrating budgets and schedules. You will begin to develop a thorough understanding of all audit and consulting services provided by the firm, and actively participate in proposals. In working with staff associates, including interns, you will provideregular performance coaching and feedback, while developingindividual technical and industry skills.

Responsibilities

• Skillfully and accurately perform financial and compliance audits
• Prepare and reviewing audit work papers and adjusting trial balances
• Analyzeand compiling financial statements into a written report to be presented to clients and coworkers
• Continuously fosteri relationships with coworkers and clients

Qualifications

• 4 year Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related business field
• 2-5 years of experience with a public accounting firm
• Masters degree preferred
• Licensed CPA or CPA candidate preferred
• Understand and apply Excel skills
• Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Work effectively and personably with clients and coworkers
