We are looking for a Part Time Onboarding Specialist to support a services organization in Boston, Massachusetts through a Contract position. This role focuses on creating a welcoming and organized onboarding experience for new hires while ensuring HR records, scheduling, and communication are handled with accuracy and care. The ideal candidate brings strong administrative ability, a confident presence, and the judgment to assist employees with sensitive onboarding and benefits-related questions.
Responsibilities:• Coordinate onboarding activities for new employees, ensuring each step is completed accurately and on schedule.
• Maintain organized HR documentation and department records while protecting confidential information.
• Confirm meetings, orientation sessions, and other onboarding appointments with candidates and internal teams.
• Enter and update employee information using standard office systems with strong keyboarding accuracy and attention to detail.
• Respond to questions from new hires in a courteous and effective manner, providing clear guidance throughout the onboarding process.
• Support discussions related to employee benefits or financial paperwork by directing individuals to the appropriate resources and explaining required forms.
• Partner with HR team members and managers to keep onboarding tasks moving efficiently and resolve administrative issues promptly.• Prior experience in human resources, onboarding, recruiting coordination, or a related administrative support role.
• Strong keyboarding and computer skills with the ability to enter information accurately and efficiently.
• Strong communication skills and a consistently courteous approach when assisting employees and internal stakeholders.
• Experience maintaining department records with careful attention to confidentiality and organization.
• Ability to confirm appointments, manage schedules, and follow up on time-sensitive tasks.
• Comfort handling sensitive documentation and answering routine questions with discretion.
• High level of reliability, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a part-time contract assignment.
